Gateway Technical College uses the Wisconsin Department of Revenue's State Debt Collections (SDC) program to collect outstanding debts owed to the college. The Wisconsin Department of Revenue is authorized to deduct outstanding debts owed to Gateway Technical College.
Once Gateway submits your account to the state, you will receive a notice from the state indicating you have 30 days to appeal this decision before you are sent to SDC. If you do not respond in writing with supporting documentation as to why you believe the debt is not valid within 30 days, your account will be sent to SDC.
