Thank you to everyone who has supported the Gateway Technical College Board of Trustees and ad hoc committee during the journey to select Gateway’s next president and CEO.
We are proud to have a very strong group of finalists:
- Caron Daugherty, president, Flint Hills Technical College, Emporia, Kansas
- Phillip King, executive vice president and provost, Milwaukee Area Technical College
- Veronique Tran, vice provost of the School of Manufacturing and Industrial Technology, Dallas College
The college’s work in selecting a new president began last year, and the selection made will have a lasting impact on the college, its students and the communities we serve. The Gateway Technical College Board of Trustees takes this responsibility seriously and will work hard to make the best choice possible.
Thank you to all who facilitated, attended and supported our campus forums and the search process. In addition to showcasing our great Gateway hospitality, you helped display what a wonderful college Gateway is and why it’s an excellent place to work, learn and grow.
Thank you as well to those who attended any of the forums and submitted questions and comments for each of the candidates. These insights will be considered as we move into the final step of choosing a president and CEO.
The board has begun the next stage of the selection process and, in the coming weeks, we will announce the college’s newest president and CEO once a selection is made.
Gateway hopes to have a new president in place and ready to lead the college by the beginning of the 2026-27 Fiscal Year and is working hard to meet that goal. AGB Search is assisting the Gateway Technical College board ad hoc presidential search committee with this search.
