You can complete your application online from the comfort of your home, or you can join us for a Get Ready Application Workshop where our New Student Specialists are on hand to assist with any questions you may have and to waive your application fee.

Applying to Gateway is easy and only takes about 15 minutes, but there are a few things you’ll need to make the process as smooth as possible:

Complete your application.

Fill out your online application. Come to a Get Ready Application Workshop for assistance in filling out your application and get an application fee waiver! Call 1-800-247-7122 to schedule a Get Ready Application Workshop.

Submit your transcripts.

Submit an official copy of all academic transcripts including high school, college/university, and/or GED/HSED. Official transcripts need to be submitted before admission acceptance and before any placement test waivers or transfer credit can be awarded.

Submit required items.

Some programs have additional admission requirements. Go to gtc.edu/requirements for details.

Schedule your placement test.

Placement testing will assist in determining what courses you need to take. Go to gtc.edu/testing to set up a testing date and review free sample questions.
