Loan Exit Counseling

Congratulations to our Fall 2014 Gateway Graduates!

If you utilized federal student loans to help reach your educational goal(s), the federal government mandates completion of Loan Exit Counseling. For your convenience, our Student Finance Specialists will be on-hand while you are picking up your graduation gown/cap! 

Stationed in the hallways outside the bookstores, Student Finance Specialists can:

  • Assist you in completing the Exit Counseling.
  • Ensure you are signed up for Gateway's financial literacy program, SALT.  They can assist you during your grace period and loan repayment, even help you contact your lender!
  • Graduation gift - thank you for taking time to complete the required Loan Exit Counseling.

Elkhorn Campus - North Z
Thur., 12/11, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Kenosha Campus - Outside Follett Bookstore
Mon., Dec. 8th, 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Thur., Dec. 11th, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Racine Campus - Racine Bldg. Outside Follett Bookstore
Mon., Dec. 8th, 1:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. 
Tues., Dec. 9th, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Students can also complete the required Loan Exit Counseling on their own at studentloans.gov.

Student are also encouraged to sign up for Gateway's free financial literacy program, SALT to receive on-going support and assistance during their loan repayment.
