New Adult Learner Scholarship

New Adult Learner Scholarship applications are open. Students who are not a current Gateway student, but have been accepted into their programs by the priority date of 7/15/2016 are eligible. In addition, students are eligible if they have earned their high school diploma or GED/HSED, been out of high school at least one year, are 19 years old or older and have not earned any Gateway Technical College credits, and are enrolled in fall classes.

We have both program specific and general scholarships available to our newest adult learners at Gateway who are enrolled in technical diploma or associate degree programs.

  • Program Specific:
    • Dental Assistant ($500 each)
    • Pharmacy Tech ($500)
    • CNC Technician 
    • Tool & Die Technician
  • General:
    • Gerald A. Packard Memorial Scholarship
      • New adult learners who meet the criteria
      • Submit 2 letters of recommendation
      • Complete personal statement
      • Give an example of when you worked for a goal, faced obstacles and achieved the goal.
    • Goldman Sachs Gives - Adult Learner Scholarship 
      • Submit 1 letter of recommendation 
      • Have financial need
