High School Students Scholarships

High School Student Scholarships are for high school students

  • who graduate in the current academic year
  • have earned a minimum GPA of 2.0 in high school
  • must complete and submit on-line application (application deadline is April 1)

Current High School Student Scholarships available at Gateway Foundation:

President’s Opportunity

  • awarded one (1) per high school in the district

Gateway Central High School

  • awarded to a Central High School graduate
  • highest GPA of applicants
  • $500 award

Gateway to Success Scholarship

  • awarded to students with high GPA
  • $500 award

KABA Catalyst2Careers

  • intend to enroll in a STEM related program or Business or Finance Degree
  • have a 2.5 GPA
  • plan to carry 12 credits at Gateway while enrolled
  • be a resident of Kenosha County
  • be a graduate of a Kenosha County High School
  • complete a statement of purpose
  • provide 2 letters of recommendation
  • 2 $1,000 scholarships available

Dave Dixon Transportation Scholarship

  • graduating high school seniors planning to enroll in a Transportation Program at Gateway 

Gabriella Ortiz Memorial Scholarship

  • awarded to a high school graduate coming to Gateway in the summer or fall after completing high school and enrolled in nursing or human services program

Gateway Technical Education Association (GTEA) Scholarship Fund for High School Students

  • awarded to a student who is the child, grand child or spouse of a current GTEA member. 

Jessica Tueting Esch Memorial Scholarship (High School) 

  • awarded to a female student enrolled in an Associate degree at Gateway and completes a personal statement
