Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright Maintenance Technician Apprentice

Maintenance mechanics and millwrights fabricate, install dismantle or move machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans or blueprints. In your future career, you’ll repair machines, mechanical equipment or building structures, as well as assembling, installing and setting equipment using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

You must be in good physical condition, at least 18-years-old and a high school graduate or equivalent. 

Get started as a Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright Maintenance Technician Apprentice

You should apply directly to employers, and entry requirements vary by employer.

Once your contract is in place Gateway’s Apprenticeship department will communicate with  you regarding registration, classes and books.
