After you’ve applied to Gateway and enrolled for your first day of class, veterans who choose to use their Veterans Education Benefits should complete the following steps:
- Schedule an appointment with a Student Finance Specialist by calling: 1-800-247-7122 or emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Monitor your Gateway student email for important updates regarding your benefits
- Once you have received VA benefits and are enrolling in your next semester of attendance, please complete the steps listed on the “Enrolled Student Check List” (below) to continue receiving your benefits.
We also encourage you to make an appointment with a Veteran Support Specialist, who can guide you through all of the steps on this list and ensure you receive all of the support you need to be successful throughout your time at Gateway.
