Culture, Business and Industry Program
Tentative Travel Dates: May 22-June 4, 2026 (dates subject to change)
Travel to the east coast in the state of New South Wales, Australia to engage in a global enrichment experience with a focus on international business, cultural interaction, education, environment, building leadership skills, and networking. This program is open to students and alumni.
- Tour Technical and Further Education (TAFE) Institutes, immersing in local culture while staying with host families connected to TAFE.
- Visit classes for your respective field of study, local business, industry and organizations while learning more about your program area at TAFE.
- Take in breathtaking beaches, wildlife sanctuaries and the Blue Mountains National Park.
- Spend three days in Sydney during Vivid, Sydney’s annual festival of light, music and ideas. This award winning festival includes live music, unique light installations, public lectures and debates.
- Participate in a joint business project aimed at gaining global insights into regional business and industry.
In this program, students will engage in over 20 hours of international service learning.
Cost Information
The estimated cost is $3,900 and includes:
- Airfare, most cultural excursions, transportation, host family accommodations (most meals included), lodging in Sydney and medical insurance - $3,370
- Required Gateway course: International Biz Squad (3 credits) - $500
- Visa - $300
