International Study Abroad Program

Tentative Travel Dates: April 16 - April 30, 2027 (Dates are subject to change)

Travel to Hessen, Germany, and gain a greater understanding of both the culture and industry of Germany. This program is open to students and alumni.

  • Participate in this joint international project for students, hosted by Gateway and our sister school, Kaufmannische Schulen-Hanau. 
  • Learn about German business and manufacturing and how those industries work specifically in Hessen.
  • Get a feel for German society by staying with German host families and attending a cultural seminar
  • Visit historical sites outside of Hessen, including a trip to Frankfurt.
  • Students who participate in this program will engage in 20 hours of international program related position shadowing.

Cost Information

The estimated cost is $2,300 and includes:

  • Airfare, most meals, transportation, standard hotel double occupancy rooms and insurance - $1,800
  • Required Gateway course: International Field Study (3 Credits) - $500

Other costs to consider include your passport and spending money.
