If you’re looking for a meaningful way to show your Gateway pride, get involved on campus, and build your leadership skills–while also reducing the cost of tuition–consider nominating yourself to become a Gateway Campus Ambassador.

Students who apply for the Campus Ambassador Awards have the chance to represent and champion the college throughout the year. One Campus Ambassador is selected from each of our three main campuses, and each winner receives a $1,000 Gateway Foundation tuition voucher to support their continued education.

From the three Campus Ambassadors, one student is selected as the Gateway WTCS Ambassador, representing the entire district at the state level and attending the State Ambassador Leadership Conference in April. The individual selected will also receive an additional scholarship and have the opportunity to work in the Student Life Office for the upcoming year.

Nominations open each year at the end of the Fall Semester, with the selection event held in February. Applicants must secure an endorsement(s) from a Gateway faculty or staff member and complete both a short presentation and an interview with a panel of judges. Read our Campus Ambassador Presentation Guidelines.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Enrollment in a technical diploma or associate degree program
  • Completion of at least one semester at Gateway
  • Enrollment in classes for the upcoming academic year

This is your chance to grow, get connected, and make a real impact–consider applying and sharing your Gateway story!
