On July 22, the Fab Lab hosted four students from Kyung Hee University for a day of learning and exploration.
These students were in the U.S. doing research on 3D printing and its impacts on education, manufacturing, and innovation. During their stay they chose to visit the Gateway Technical College Fab Lab as part of their research.
They were part of the LG Global Challenger series which selects teams of students from Korea to visit other countries to explore and research topics of interest.

The Fab Lab is utilized by K12 and college students to further their creativity and will allow our engineering, design, and skilled trades students an opportunity to bring their ideas to life by using the Fab Lab to develop their ideas into reality.
