Gateway Technical College Foundation, at its annual award ceremony Feb. 13, awarded 205 scholarships totaling nearly $127,000 and benefiting 199 students by helping them fulfill their career and educational goals.
The amount awarded is a 15 percent increase in the total amount awarded compared to last year.
“We are so grateful to our Foundation donors. Their generous support recognizes our students’ hard work and achievement,” said Foundation Executive Director Jennifer Charpentier. “Scholarships help students stay in school and persist in pursuing their career and technical education goals. They help students complete their education, and move into the workforce faster with family supporting jobs.
