Coronavirus (COVID-19) en español

Updated February 28, 2022

This Spring Semester, we are enjoying seeing more faces on campus with the return of more on-campus classes and events! Whether you are learning hands-on in the campus labs or you’ve hit your stride with online or blended learning, we hope your Spring Semester is off to a great start. We know COVID-19 has presented many challenges over the past two years and we appreciate all of the steps you have taken to help limit the spread of the virus on campus.

Gateway’s campus mask requirement will end on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Masks will no longer be required on campus for students, staff and visitors.

We understand each of us will have differing reactions to this change, and for some it may feel stressful. Please know that Gateway remains a mask-friendly campus. That means individuals who wish to continue wearing masks on campus are welcome to do so, and the college will continue to make masks available. We ask that all members of our campus community respect everyone’s personal choice regarding masking.

Gateway’s other COVID-related protocols remain in place for the health and safety of our students, staff and visitors. If you are feeling ill, have had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or if you test positive for COVID-19, please file a Maxient report. Learn more about COVID-19 reporting.

We continue to encourage all members of our campus community to get vaccinated against COVID-19. You can learn more about the available vaccines and find vaccination locations here.
