Gateway Technical College will hold its annual simulated disaster training event 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., March 16, at the Inspire Center and nearby parking lot on its Kenosha Campus, 3520-30th Ave.
The interprofessional simulation day, branded as Red Hawk Rescue, brings together students from multiple programs to use the skills they’ve gained at Gateway for this one-day training event.
The simulated gas leak crisis scenario will be staged in and near the Inspire Center. Students will triage care, practice how to communicate with other emergency service personnel and ensure patient safety remains a priority through the transfer of care.
