Students at a club outing

Student Clubs & Organizations

Student clubs and organizations are the perfect opportunity to meet fellow students, gain professional experience, and get involved on campus and in the community. No matter what you're interested in, there is something for you here at Gateway. Clubs can focus on a program of study or just connect people with similar interests. To connect, search for clubs on Blackboard or contact a Student Life Coordinator.

Find Clubs and Organizations on Blackboard!

Students can add many clubs on Blackboard to get updates about meetings and other important information. Here's how:

  1. Log into My Gateway and click Blackboard in the Quick Links box.
  2. Click on the “Community” tab.
  3. In the "Organization Search" Box, type in the name of the club.
  4. If the club has a Blackboard page, you will be able to self-enroll.
  5. Once enrolled, from your main Blackboard page, scroll down, and on your right you will see the organizations you self-enroll in under the heading "My Organizations."
