Make a seamless transition from trainee to trainer! As an apprentice, you’ve already learned to use the tools of your trade. This class will provide you with the training you need to help you share that knowledge with others as a mentor. In this class, you will:
- Be introduced to the basic tools of a job site trainer
- Explore the skills needed to be an effective mentor
- Learn how to effectively deliver hands-on training
- Gain a greater understanding of how to provide useful feedback
- Build a training toolkit that can be used in your specific work setting
Class details
All Transition-to-Trainer classes are web-based classes held synchronously at the scheduled day and time listed in registration.
All Wisconsin apprentices can attend this course offered by Gateway.
Scheduling is flexible and designed to fit your busy agenda.
The 8-hour course is offered several times per year. There may be one or two sessions for the course.
