• Students must meet one of the following multiple measures: earned a technical diploma or higher,* earned a minimum high school GPA of 2.6, earned a minimum college GPA of 2.0 or submit ACT or Accuplacer test scores. Submit any needed transcripts or test scores. *Please note short term technical diplomas do not fulfill Multiple Measures. These programs include Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced EMT, and Truck Driving.

Gateway follows a priority placement process for students admitted into this program. Priority placement provides a clear path to securing a spot in our high-demand programs. Students admitted into this program progress through three stages pre-core, core-ready and core-active as they work to complete their degree. Because this program does not have academic preparedness requirements, students enter in core-ready status.

After becoming Core-Active through Priority Placement

After being awarded a seat in core courses through the priority placement process students are Core-Active and will be given permission to register for core program courses.
