The Highly Skilled Occupations for Professional Employment (HOPE) Initiative is dedicated to helping dislocated workers gain the skills necessary to compete for jobs in career paths such as construction, advanced manufacturing, information technology and health.
Preference will be given to individuals living in Racine County who have been dislocated from their jobs due to COVID-19 and are new to Gateway Technical College. Others are welcome to apply.
Applications will be reviewed and funding awarded on a first come first served basis once a student’s HOPE Initiative Student Intent Form as well as Gateway Application for Admission are complete. Applicants must submit any required supplement items for admission and be fully admitted for consideration.
Applicants will be notified of their selection for the program within 15 days of admission and completion of the HOPE Intent Form.
