Michael LaPointe recently earned his IT - Network Specialist associate degree at Gateway, and now he's working towards the IT - Cybersecurity Specialist associate degree too. While he didn't start his college career at Gateway, several factors push him to continue learning here.
"Another college didn't give me much social interaction and it was really expensive," said Michael. "Gateway is a five-minute drive. The college gives you hands-on experience, which is much better than working on digital models. And I learned more about networking in that first semester at Gateway than I did in multiple semesters at another college."
