Learning Success Centers Closures

The Learning Success Centers on all 3 campuses will be closed from Monday, August 24 through Monday, September 7, reopening on Tuesday, September 8. This closing effects Tutoring Services, Disability Support, and Adult Basic Education, whose services will resume on September 8.

How to Register

You can register using WebAdvisor or in person at any Student Services Center. Registering via WebAdvisor ensures you have the most up-to-date class information.

In order to best prepare for registration, follow the steps below:

  1. Create your WebAdvisor account or know your WebAdvisor password. Your username is your Student ID #. [How to Retrieve UserID/Password]

    Review your payment options and the payment option deadlines to ensure you have a payment option in place or are prepared to establish a payment option.

  2. Search for Classes
    Each program at Gateway has a set of classes that are required for graduation. Your curriculum sheet will outline the required classes for your program. Review your curriculum sheet or run your Degree Audit to see what classes you need to register for to complete your program.

    Use WebAdvisor to search for classes/sections to find the classes you want to register for. [How to Search for Classes] You will want to note the section number for each class (for example: 801-136-2E11). This is the number you will use to register for that class.

  3. Find out When You Can Register
  4. Register for Classes
    You can register via WebAdvisor [How to Register for Classes] or at an Student Services Center. If registering in person, please have your Student ID #, a photo ID, and know your security question and answer.

    You are not be able to register over the phone.

  5. After You Register, check your class schedule to confirm you are enrolled in exactly what you want and need; note the start date of each class. Make any necessary changes. [Add/Drop Policies]
