Gateway Technical College has narrowed down its presidential applicant pool to four candidates, who will be on campus later this month to engage in a number of forums before a final selection is made.

Those finalists are:

  • Caron Daugherty, president, Flint Hills Technical College
  • Phillip King, executive vice president and provost, Milwaukee Area Technical College
  • Christopher Reber, president, Hudson County Community College
  • Veronique Tran, vice provost of the School of Manufacturing and Industrial Technology, Dallas College

The college is encouraging members of the public to connect with candidates in-person at forums to be held at HARIBO Hall in the Madrigrano Conference Center on the Kenosha Campus, 3520-30th Ave. For those unable to attend in person, the forums will also be livestreamed on YouTube.

The campus community is welcome to submit questions for the candidate forums. Questions need to be submitted ahead of time for consideration and will be asked by the moderator. The deadline for submitting questions is April 15.

Gateway hopes to have a new president in place and ready to lead the college by the beginning of the 2026-27 Fiscal Year and is working hard to meet that goal.
