Gateway’s Barber/Cosmetology students will hold a fund-raising event for the college’s veterans’ club 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 11 at The View on 5 Salon on the fifth floor of the Technical Building at the college’s Racine Campus, 1001 S. Main St.
Offered services include mini-manicures, makeup, nails and facials. There will be a minimum of a $5 donation charge and no appointment is necessary – services will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.
Veteran’s club group members will serve light refreshments and have door prizes. All proceeds go to the college veteran’s group.
