Are you a business leader seeking to connect with your future workforce? Looking for talent to keep your business growing and thriving?
Gateway Technical College is seeking employers seeking to be a part of its InnovateU Conference, an event designed to introduce students to leadership development, innovation and career pathways.
The event, to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 26 at the SC Johnson iMET Center, 2320 Renaissance Blvd, Sturtevant, connects students, industry partners, education and community leaders for a day of engagement, learning and networking.
This highly interactive event provides ways for industry partners to connect directly with students to share insights about their industry and highlight their business, which includes career and employment opportunities.
“Employers will be able to help future workers in their industry by giving them valuable insight into their career, but they also benefit by having access to emerging leaders in their industry as well,” said Mary Xiong, Gateway Experiential Learning and Career Transitions coordinator.
“They can provide information about their organization to these future leaders as well as any field placement or internship opportunities.”
The program is open to all Gateway students, but will specifically target those in the programs of Business Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Leadership Development, Administrative Professional, Information Technology, Accounting and Advanced Manufacturing.
Business vendor registration fee is $50 for non-profit organizations and $75 for for-profit organizations. Those who wish to become a business vendor can complete this form.
