Gateway Technical College again has received a Military Friendly School designation by Viqtory Media, the premier publisher of magazines for military personnel transitioning into civilian life.

Gateway received the 2025-26 Gold designation for its leading practices, outcomes and effective programs. The college has received a Military Friendly designation every year for more than a decade.

“Gateway Technical College is deeply honored to once again receive the Military Friendly School designation,” said Gateway Technical College President and CEO Ritu Raju. “This recognition reflects our dedicated efforts to create an inclusive, supportive environment where veterans, service members and their families can thrive academically and professionally. 

“We extend our deepest gratitude to our veterans for their service and to our college community for its steadfast dedication to the mission of helping every military-connected student build the future they deserve.”

Institutions earning the Military Friendly School designation were evaluated using public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. Methodology, criteria and weightings were determined with input from the Military Friendly Schools Advisory Council and with the assistance of an independent research firm.
