Well-known area birding expert and Hoy Audubon Society member Rick Fare will deliver a seminar focused on backyard birding, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. March 24 at Gateway Technical College’s Center for Sustainable Living on the college’s Kenosha Campus, 3520-30th Ave.

Fare will focus on ways to create backyard habitats that attract birds year-round by providing them with food, shelter and nesting sites.
