News Release:
Three Gateway students, one from each of the college’s main campuses, were recognized during the Veterans Honor Event held Nov. 7 on the Kenosha Campus as being veterans of the year for the 2017-18 Academic Year.
They are as follows:
Racine Campus: Matthew Jorgenson
Kenosha Campus: Jessica Schmidt
Elkhorn Campus/Burlington Center: Angela Boro
Student-veterans were nominated because of their academic excellence, service to the community and leadership qualities. A committee from each campus, headed by the campus dean, then selected the veteran of the year.
