Gateway to hold health and emergency response programs open house at Burlington

Application fee waived for those who attend event

Gateway Technical College will host an open house for high-schoolers 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. April 21, providing a way to learn about the college’s health and emergency response programs offered at its two Burlington facilities.

The open house will be held at Gateway’s HERO Center, 380 McCanna Parkway, Burlington. In addition, all those who attend the event will have their $30 Gateway admission fee waived.

Attendees will learn about the programs and tour Gateway’s cutting-edge health care and emergency response facilities, as well as meet faculty from those program areas. Programs to be featured include Fire Medic, EMT, Paramedic, Pharmacy Technician, Nursing and Nursing Assistant.

While the event is held at Burlington, anyone from across from across the Gateway District – which includes Racine County, Kenosha County and Walworth County – interested in these programs is invited to attend.
