Foundation ceremony celebrates 40 years, awards 237 scholarships to benefit students

Gateway Technical College President and CEO Bryan Albrecht talks about the impact the Gateway Foundation has on students at the annual Foundation awards ceremony, held Feb. 3 on the Kenosha Campus.

Gateway Technical College Foundation at its annual award ceremony Feb. 3 awarded 237 scholarships totaling nearly $145,000 to benefit 175 students and help them fulfill their career and educational goals.

"We are grateful for the generosity of our donors,” said Foundation Executive Director Jennifer Charpentier.

“They help our students stay in school and persist in their education. Because of their thoughtful investment, our students' lives have been changed forever.”

This year’s event was momentous, marking the Foundation’s 40th year of impacting the lives and futures of Gateway students.
