About Beth
First Sergeant Beth Gilbertson is currently assigned to the 444 Engineer Facilities Detachment (EFD) located in Grand Prairie, Texas, which provides engineering design and construction management capabilities to deployed units.
Her military career spans 27 years, with assignments that included serving as the First Sergeant of an Engineer Battalion and a member of a Forward Engineer Support Team (FEST), as well as the Front Office NCOIC for the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-8 at the Pentagon.
She was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Freedom Sentinel as the Project Manager/Battalion Engineer with the 415th Civil Affairs Battalion. In her civilian career, First Sergeant Gilbertson is the Director of Campus Operations at Herzing University and obtained her Doctorate in Leadership, Innovation and Continuous Improvement from Concordia University.
She currently resides in Wind Lake and has three children – Kelli (27), Matt (25) and Kate, a freshman at UW-Oshkosh.
