If you’re looking to build a career in a high-tech field, check out Telecom on Demand. Gateway Technical College is offering an affordable, self-paced training program that combines open labs with online coursework to prepare participants for telecom jobs.

These high-demand jobs are about a lot more than hooking up phones. They are about supplying organizations with the communications and data they need to thrive.

To participate in this program, you must:

  • Have the ability to work independently on computer with internet access
  • Submit official High school transcript, HSED, GED, or counselor approval from your high school (for current high school students).

Courses begin in February, 2019.

Telecom Industry Pay

Typical starting wage: $14 - $16/hr.
Median wage for installers: $24.57/hr.
Hourly wage for experienced installers: $35.64/hr.
