We live in a world surrounded by technology, and whatever fields our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly depend on understanding how technology works.  

Help your students get ahead. Join Gateway Technical College during Computer Science Education Week (December 4-10) for the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code!  More than 100 million students worldwide have already participated in Hour of Code.  Please see below for date, time and campus location in your area.

During the Hour of Code, students will learn basic coding, tour the Gateway campus, have lunch and visit real-world exhibitors to see where jobs in computer coding can lead.

Students in 6 - 8th grades

When/Where: 
Kenosha Campus: Wednesday, December 5, 2018; 9:30 am - 1 pm
Racine Campus: Thursday, December 6, 2018; 9:30 am - 1 pm
Elkhorn Campus : Friday, December 7, 2018; 9:30 am - 1 pm


This Hour of Code event is making a statement that Gateway Technical College is ready to teach these foundational 21st century skills. This is a chance to change the future of education in southeast Wisconsin.
