About Gateway’s Craft Fair
The first Holiday Gifting & Art Show was held in December 2008 on the Kenosha Campus. The board hoped to host 25 booths, but as word got out about the event, that amount more than doubled to 56 booths.
Since the inaugural event, the fair has grown to more than 140 booths* and donated approximately $70,000 to the Student Emergency Fund. We continue the tradition today, welcoming artists, crafters and home-based retail vendors to sell their wares to the hundreds of holiday shoppers that visit this popular affair.
This fundraising event is managed by a volunteer committee and sponsored by the Gateway Technical College Foundation. Proceeds benefit the Gateway Student Emergency Fund, which assists students in resolving short-term financial hardships that may otherwise have terminated their ability to stay in college.
*Vendors Note: We will do our best to honor past booth locations. However, booth space is newly reimagined for social distancing. Booth space reservations are on a first-come basis.
