Fast Track
Stop in to Fast Track and get set for the semester at Gateway! Explore programs, get help with your application and financial aid as well as register for your semester classes. Gateway’s Student Services, Student Finance and New Student Specialist teams will be all hands on deck to help you.

Get Ready Application Workshops
Available weekly on campus and via Zoom, these workshops have New Student Specialists on hand to assist you, plus your $30 application fee is waived!
At a Get Ready Application Workshop, you’ll get an overview of Gateway, learn about the college’s 65+ programs of study and receive help with the admissions process and completing your application.

WHYAPPLY Day
September 18, 2026
Join us for an all-day application event where you can apply to Gateway for free! Stop in to the Elkhorn, Racine or Kenosha Student Services Center to meet with a New Student Specialist and have your application fee waived.
Plus, we’ll offer “admit on the spot” for students who meet Multiple Measures requirements and bring either ACT scores, Accuplacer scores or an official college or high school transcript with a GPA.
Dual Credit to Degree Info Sessions
This event is for high school juniors and seniors who’ve earned dual credit at Gateway. Join us to learn how your credits count toward a college degree, explore career pathways and create a plan to get started on your Gateway program. Sessions begin at 5 p.m.

Gateway Program Exploration Days
These career-specific events allow you to get a closer look at fields like engineering, health care, business, manufacturing and information technology. You’ll get to tour campus, learn more about the programs, visit high-tech learning labs, connect with program faculty and more. All events are held from 9-11 a.m.

Gateway’s Summer Open Houses are our biggest events of the year. Whether you’re ready to begin your big future, want to change careers, are interested in earning credits to transfer to a four-year college – or just want to see all that Gateway has to offer (which is a lot!) – they’re the place to start.
