  • Start flying sooner. Gateway’s Aeronautics program provides lots of hands-on aircraft and simulator time by graduation — putting you ahead of others in the job market.
  • Get certified as a private pilot through a three-stage program at Gateway and two external FAA exams. Additionally, program courses prepare you to obtain an instrument rating, commercial pilot (single and multi-engine land) and flight instructor single and multi-engine certificates.
  • Earn great wages in a high-demand industry. The need for pilots is expected to grow, and the average annual salary in this field is $86,362. Graduates of the program can start working as commercial pilots, while building hours to qualify for their Airline Transportation Pilot Certificate.
