This workshop introduces the participant to safety and loss prevention in the workplace with an emphasis on worker awareness for maintaining a safe, productive environment. Participants will learn the history and background of OSHA and NIOSH, what an effective safety meeting should consist of, as well as the top reasons for OHSA citations. Select items from the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) body of knowledge will be presented.
