Awesome Applications will allow students to develop their own computer game or mobile application using the MIT developed SCRATCH programming language. Scratch is a programming language that makes it easy to create interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web. As young people create and share Scratch projects, they learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.

SCRATCH is a free programming language, so after completing the camp, students can continue to work on and develop new projects over the summer as this camp will provide them the knowledge to begin programming their very own applications.
