Counter Narrative Workshop

Event Date:
Wednesday, May 16, 2018 - 12:30pm to 4:00pm

Counter-narratives are the stories no one else but you can tell. Counter-narratives are stories of your lived experience as a person of color that puts you at the center and pushes back against the mainstream narratives that misrepresent people of color through stereotypes and myths.

In this interactive workshop, led by the Cofounders of InterAction Initiative Inc., participants will explore and find their voice through their own counter-narratives. Join us and see how your counter-narrative can lead to social change!
