Emergency Grants

One-time emergency grants of up to $500 are available for eligible students who are facing an unexpected, unanticipated event that can derail their Gateway graduation. Find out more by visiting Emergency Grants through Gateway’s Foundation.

GradReady

This financial literacy resource available free to Gateway students has information on how to become financially savvy. Some of the topics covered include smart money management, paying for college, real-world finances and even student loan decisions.

Financial Empowerment Center (FEC)

The Financial Empowerment Center offers free, one-on-one financial counseling for students/staff who live within the city of Racine. Please note when completing your referral form that you were referred by Gateway Technical College.

Racine County Financial Resources Directory

Racine County Human Services and the University of Wisconsin Extension in Racine County have collaborated to publish an annual Family Resource Directory in addition to other resources at the UW-Extension website.

Gateway Foundation Scholarships

The Gateway Foundation offers more than 160 scholarships annually thanks to the generosity of its donors. Scholarships can be used toward tuition, fees, books and supplies. Find out more and see the listing of available scholarships here.
