Representatives from about a dozen student clubs and organizations were on hand to share information about getting involved.
Gateway students were able to sample clubs and culinary items earlier this month at the Taste of Student Life events held at the Elkhorn, Kenosha and Racine campuses.
“The Taste of Student Life event is an opportunity for students to see the many student organizations on campus and find out how they can get involved on campus and in the community,” said Lindsey Mizak, student life specialist.
At the Racine Campus, representatives were on hand from 12 clubs. Each student was given a club passport sheet and received a sticker for each club table visited. United Student Government provided lunch and a Gateway thermal cup for students who visited at least four club tables.
Rusty Northrop and Cassandra Kager, known as Midwest Dueling Pianos, played and sang during the events.
Gateway’s new mascot, Rudy the Red Hawk, also was on hand to greet students as they learned more about all that’s offered at Gateway.
