In the morning camps, students will venture to a new planet that they will fabricate through engineering.

As the camper’s create their planets, they will have to determine how they will survive in the new environment. As an explorer they need to consider the clothing, transportation, shelter, food and water that are needed to survive depending on the planet’s environment.

  • Will the car that they use be a solar powered vehicle?
  • Will they be able to grow plants the same way we do here on Earth?
  • How will they journey home at the end of the week, for this a basic physics lesson will be necessary to determine how they can launch their rockets?

On Friday morning, students will take a field trip to a manufacturing facility in the region so students can see real life examples of innovation becoming reality.
