Critical Core Manufacturing Skills

Developed by the Wisconsin Technical College System, Critical Core Manufacturing Skills (CCMS) provides the tools to meet the changing demands of the modern manufacturing environment and build a culture of high performance. CCMS helps employees develop skills to solve problems, work cooperatively in teams, and adapt to an ever-changing environment. Each module can be offered as a single session or grouped into a customized package to meet your unique business needs.

Introduction to High Performance Manufacturing

An overview module targeted to employees new to manufacturing as well as to seasoned veterans who may need exposure to modern manufacturing strategies. This module is six (6) hours in length and can be customized.

Productivity Skills

Module 3: Maintain a safe work environment

Problem Solving Skills

Module 4: Think critically
Module 5: Apply problem solving strategies
Module 6: Apply mathematical reasoning

Team Skills

Module 7: Work cooperatively in teams

Adaptability Skills

Module 10: Demonstrate integrity
Module 11: Demonstrate a positive attitude
Module 12: Adapt to change

The CCMS modules are designed for all members of the production team. 

Delivery Format
The training design is interactive with practical skill applications, individual and small group exercises, and real-life examples.

Program hours: Each of the 12 modules are 4 hours in length and can be customized according to the needs of the participants and organization.
