Gateway Technical College offers assistance to regional businesses, community partners, and students at the newly expanded integrated Manufacturing & Engineering Technology Center, iMET. To support entrepreneurs and innovators of all ages, we offer services and customized training in the areas of Business Exploration, Business Start-Up, Business Growth, Business Mentoring, as well as provide a network of Entrepreneurial Resources.

Start-up and Stage 1 companies: <10 employees, <$1m revenue
- Acceleration team (A-Team)
Collaborative team process that works to accelerate business growth by developing business plan components for commercial value, product validation, and business sustainability.
Cohorts of main street businesses with small business topics in e-commerce, market analysis, window displays, interior design, advertising, marketing, human resources, & customer service.

A Fabrication Lab “Fab Lab” is a workspace containing a variety of computer controlled tools that allow for the manufacture of nearly anything the individual can conceive and encourage innovation and project collaboration.
