Placement testing is completed by taking the COMPASS, a computerized assessment. Students need to make a testing reservation in advance to be able to test. Fees are required at the time you make a testing reservation.

Results from this assessment will help identify your academic strengths and needs in Reading, Writing, and Math. Based on the results, you will be placed in courses appropriate for your skill level, ensuring a successful beginning in your classes and college career. Your results will not prevent you from being accepted to your chosen program. While this assessment is important, COMPASS is not a pass or fail, so relax, take a deep breath and do your best!
