Financial Aid Workshops

Gateway offers a variety of workshops designed to assist students with their questions about paying for college including financial aid. 

All Things Student Finance 

Stop by a student finance walk-in session to receive assistance with any questions about paying for college. Receive assistance with everything from financial aid questions, veterans' benefits questions, understanding payment options, and completing required paperwork to anything in between. No appointment necessary.

FAFSA Days

FREE INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE to students and families who are filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA is the federally required form for students seeking financial aid, such as grants, loans, and work study. Completing the FAFSA is the first and most important step in qualifying for aid.

  • No Registration required
  • Allow about 1 hour to complete the FAFSA

To help with completing the FAFSA, please bring the following items with you:

  • Correct Social Security number
  • 2013 untaxed income records (i.e. amounts of child support and/or alimony paid or received)
  • 2013 federal tax return or W2's for student (if student is considered dependent parent's tax return or W2's is also needed)
    • Students are typically considered dependent if born after January 1, 1990; unmarried; or have no children

FAFSA Days events are held at key times each year.  Check back for upcoming dates.  Students are welcome to attend an All Things Student Finance event for FAFSA assistance or schedule an appointment with a Student Finance Specialist at any time.
