Students who have a foreign transcript and need to verify completion of a secondary credential or who are looking for possible transfer of credits will need to have their official foreign transcripts evaluated by Educational Credentials Evaluators, One Earth International Credential Evaluations, SpanTran or World Evaluation Services. Your transcripts may need to be evaluated even if you are from an English-speaking country or if your educational program was conducted in English.
A general evaluation is required for all applicants, unless official transcripts are submitted that show either:
- A degree (high school or higher) earned in the U.S.
- Or admission to a UW system college undergraduate or graduate degree (not ESL).
A course by course evaluation is needed to award transfer equivalency credit. There will be a fee charged for the evaluation service, however Gateway does not charge for applying applicable credits.
