Petitioning Dates

Petitioning occurs three times each academic year. The three petitioning windows are the first two full weeks in:

  • June for program/clinical courses starting in the following Spring term (June 3 - June 14, 2013), 
    • Health Unit Coordinator
    • Nursing
    • LPN to ADN Bridge program
  • December for program/clincal courses starting in the following Summer term (December 2-13, 2013), and 
    • Medical Assistant
  • February for program/clinical courses starting in the following Fall term (February 3-14, 2014).
    • Dental Assistant
    • Health Information Technology
    • Health Unit Coordinator
    • Medical Assistant
    • Nursing
    • LPN to ADN Bridge
    • Physical Therapist Assistant
    • Surgical Technology

Be sure to read your program’s petition eligibility requirements to be sure you meet them.

All petition forms must be completely filled out.  All petition forms  must be turned by 4pm or postmarked by Friday of the petition period.  Only completed petitions received before 4pm or postmarked by the Friday date can be considered.
