Get Ready Workshops
Learn about Gateway and how to Get Started!

What is a Get Ready Workshop?  
A Get Ready workshop is intended for anyone that is thinking about Gateway as their college of choice. The Get Ready workshops will consist of the following:

  • Overview of Gateway
  • Gateway Program Offerings
  • Admission Process
  • Steps to Apply for Financial Aid
  • WebAdvisor, Email Overview/Set Up

Get Ready Workshops will be available weekly on each campus:

Elkhorn Campus - Thursdays from 2PM-4PM
Room – N210

Kenosha Campus - Wednesdays from 2PM-4PM
Room – Student Services Center Conference Room

Racine Campus - Wednesdays from 2PM-4PM
Room – Student Services Center Multipurpose Room

Get Ready workshops will be available monthly at the Burlington Center:
Burlington Center - 2nd Tuesday of the month 2PM-4PM

Student should bring:

  • official high school and any college transcripts
  • Correct Social Security number
  • 2012 untaxed income records (i.e. amounts of child support and/or alimony paid or received 2012 federal tax return or W2’s for student (if student is considered dependent parent’s tax return or W2’s is also needed)
  • Students are typically considered dependent if born after January 1, 1990; unmarried; or have no children
