Network Specialist

The corporate world relies heavily on its information technology staff to ensure company data available to staff and business partners and staff are interconnected with one another. Students in the Network Specialist Associate Degree program are prepared for a professional career in the computer networking field. The program takes students from the beginning architectural design process through installation, configuration, administration, and tuning of microcomputer network environments. Additional topics incorporated into the program include cross-platform and enterprise network environments.

Obtain an IT industry certification to assist you in getting a job or advancing in your current job. Our IT-Network Specialist classes will assist you in preparing for the following industry certification exams:

  • Microsoft's MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional)
  • Comp TIA's Network+
  • Comp TIA's LINUX+
  • Comp TIA's Security+
  • Novell's CNA (Certified Novell Administrator)

The entire IT-Network Specialist is offered on both the Racine and Elkhorn campuses. Also, the entire first year courses can be taken on the Kenosha Campus.
