Program Admissions Process
GATEWAY TECHNICAL COLLEGE ASSOCIATE DEGREE NURSING APPLICATION INFORMATION SHEET 1. Who is eligible to apply to the Gateway Nursing Program? A. While Gateway will process all Nursing applications, priority for the Technical Studies Clinical sections (543-xxx classes) will be given first to students living within the Gateway district (Kenosha, Racine or Walworth county), then Wisconsin residents, then out of state residents. Due to the high number of in-district applicants, it is very unlikely that out of district or out of state students will be selected for the clinical portion of the program. AND Note: To be eligible for Financial Aid completion of one of the programs above is required. 2. When can I apply to the Nursing Program at Gateway? 3. Where do I submit my application? A. Your acceptance letter will advise you of your next step which includes seeing a counselor for scheduling classes. 4. THINGS TO REMEMBER! A.
